CAO Cx2 Cigar Event : 11/11@11
This Saturday, November 11 at 11 a.m., is the CAO Cx2 cigar tasting. This is the last event of the year and many cool deals will be made. Come by and meet the rep, Jeff T., who will be on hand to answer all of your CAO questions.
As an example of one deal being offered, when you purchase any box of CAO Cx2 cigars, you will receive free ($40 value) one box of the CAO Commemorativo. This box contains one of each of the cigars from the seven premium lines CAO offers. Also in the package is the DVD Seed to Soul. From the CAO website:
Set in the lush regions of Nicaragua and Honduras, the film chronicles the evolution of a premium cigar from the genesis of the seed all the way to the finishing stages of packaging. Directed and produced by veteran filmmaker Lynn Bennett, ‘Seed’ delves into the process of cigar making in a detailed fashion never before seen.
Some adult beverages will be provided but you are welcome to BYO. The coffee bar will be open and Tracy will be on hand to pour the espresso.
Don't forget, also, to stop in and visit Downtown Books just one level below us. If you haven't seen it yet, then Saturday will be the perfect day.

Perdomo Lot 23
The newest cigar in the humidor is the Perdomo Lot 23. I'm a big fan of the Perdomo Champagne series as well as the Perdomo Estate Vintage Selection, both found here, and this is one of my new favorites.
From the Perdomo website:
PERDOMO LOT 23® is named after one of Tabacalera Perdomo's prestigious farms located near its factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. The blend is a combination of exquisite filler and binder tobaccos grown exclusively on the Lot 23® farm. After harvesting the tobacco and aging it in bale for four years, the cigars were rolled and aged in one of Perdomo's large aging rooms for another six months before being sent to their office in Miami for distribution.PERDOMO LOT 23® is a medium to full flavored blend that offers a well-balanced, complex smoking experience. The dark Ecuadorian Connecticut-shade wrapper lends not only a stunning aesthetic appeal, but it adds an elegant creaminess which complements the robust Nicaraguan fillers.
PERDOMO LOT 23® cigars are available in the following four traditional sizes packaged in stunning 20 count cedar boxes: Robusto (5" x 50); Toro (6" x 50); Churchill (7" x 50) and Belicoso (5¾" x 54).
